We have 4 mud paddocks for our very wet springs and falls that we have here in Essex. We also have 3 grass paddocks for the summer when it's dry. We try to manage our place so the grass paddocks stay grass.
Dennis is always expanding and improving our paddocks as well as being creative with ways of allowing the horses to be out in grassy areas so he doesn't have to mow that part of the lawn. Most have been wired with electric fencing for added safety.
We also have 4 stalls in the barn that have dutch doors for all day/ all night turn out with a run in.
